Many of the dogs that have consumed more medications or more of the tincture than prescribed have shown clinical signs following ingestion, and these signs appear to be very consistent with animals that have overdosed with THC.

You should keep an in-house track of mild cases. Patience is important when this happens, because your beloved furry friend may need to cuddle. In more severe cases supervision may be required, forcing you to take your dog to the veterinarian’s office. Depending on the severity of the case, injection of IV fluids will potentially happen. Some extra love and care may need to be provided by the nurses over at the clinics. For example, heating methods may need to be applied to ensure that the pup does not freak out of some of the above signs and symptoms.

Is There Reason To Be Scared?

Truly, there is no particular reason to be afraid. In some cases, CBD oil products can cause unwanted signs and symptoms, but it’s nothing a veterinarian or a dog owner can’t deal with. Harmful and serious effects will never occur while taking this all-natural medication, but that does not guarantee that an unintended adverse effect will occur from time to time, particularly if dosages increase over a period of time.
