Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a public, coeducational university in Georgia with two main campuses in the Atlanta metro area, one in Kennesaw and the other in Marietta on a combined 581 acres (235 ha) of land.

Kennesaw State University is a public university located in Kennesaw, Georgia. The college has a 62 percent acceptance rate and ranks #28 in the state of Georgia for the lowest acceptance rates. Many students view acceptance by Kennesaw State University as a coveted outcome, with over half of accepted applicants enrolling.
Kennesaw State University is not considered to be a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). The US Department of Education recognizes a group of roughly 100 institutions as HBCUs.
