Connecting with nature is a great way to have fun! You don’t need much space or special equipment, and you can still enjoy the beauty of nature.

My Big Backyard, also known as the children’s garden, is a big and enjoyable space with a variety of activities for both children and adults, as well as beautiful plant specimens. You won’t be able to see everything in an hour, especially if you play games along the route, so set up a morning or afternoon to spend in this beautiful garden for the kids.

My Big Backyard is a 2.5-acre unique part of the Memphis Botanical Garden that’s like something out of Alice in Wonderland, with so many things to do and see, you can’t name them all here! There are themed sections such as Wormville where kids literally walk through underground tunnels before getting their own worm’s eye view from above-ground; Treetop Adventure which consists entirely on-ramps – no stairs allowed for these curious little ones who want an even higher perspective than they already have at normal height levels; and Raindrop Stop where every 30 minutes it rains, complete with thunder if you’re brave enough to wait around until then!

A family garden at Big Backyard is a great place to explore with your kids. The iconic red drum bridge in the Japanese Garden of Tranquility provides visitors an opportunity for fun and adventure while also learning about cultural history. Their herb gardens are one of the biggest, providing unique experiences like their programs offered there!

You can explore vivid playhouses at Playhouse Lane, or for an interactive experience, you may join My Little Garden’s mud-pie-making station. At Seedling Circle, toddlers are welcome to construct their own fort while older children engage in outdoor puppet performances.

This garden, with its half museum and part playground vibe, is sure to keep kids entertained. It aims for children of all ages to learn about plants while exploring playhouses made of wood or climbing a treehouse up above the ground. Little ones can even get their hands dirty as they slosh around in a creek without shoes on! Finally – this place also offers musical instruments that are designed more like props rather than real things so your child may experiment freely with sound by creating new tunes via imaginative play throughout the park’s grounds.

The mission of My Big Backyard is to provide a safe and fun environment for families with children, in the form of a botanical garden. It’s a place where kids can explore nature while parents enjoy some peace and quiet.
