The stadium has been around since 1948, which makes it one of the oldest stadiums in Texas. It was originally built for a minor league baseball team called the Missions before they moved out west during WWII because of gas rationing.

How to Get There: 

Public transportation or cars. Public transit is available by bus lines (lines with "M" in their number) and stops at the stadium are marked on this map. The stadium has a parking lot that accommodates up to 400 cars for those who prefer not using public transport. Drivers should enter from Martin Luther King Jr Blvd via North New Braunfels Avenue or Dwyer Drive and then follow signs directing them to the lots located just north of the stadium. Parking rates range from $15 per vehicle during weekdays when games aren't going on, but go all the way up to $25 per space if there's an event happening inside Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium.
