The San Antonio FBI facility, in collaboration with the GSA, was designed to combine the requisite security measures and usable office space in harmony. The architecture uses natural Texas limestone as well as granite, cherry wood, bronze and glass throughout, both smooth and rough cut. The four-story building features a garage for workers, office rooms, gym, atrium, public lobby and guard station. The perimeter is guarded by state-of - the-art fencing, which is softened by strategic landscaping. Outer architecture complements the suburban nearby area.
Counties covered by the FBI in San Antonio include Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzalez, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Medina, Real, Uvalde, and Wilson. Along with our main office in San Antonio, we have six satellite offices, known as resident agencies, in the area: Austin, Brownsville, Del Rio, Laredo, Mcallen and Waco.
