Municipal Clerks have been, over the years, the center of government, the direct connection between their community's residents and their government. The Clerk is the town historian for the entire recorded past of the city and his people are in his responsibility. Professor William Bennett Munro, an eminent political scientist, who writes in one of the first municipal administration textbooks (1934), stated:
"No other municipal office has so many contracts. It represents the mayor, the city council, the city manager (when there is one), and all administrative departments without exception. All of them call on it, almost daily, for any service or details. Its work is not impressive, but it needs agility, alertness, precision and no end of patience. The public does not know how many loose ends this office puts together at city administration.”
Written more than 80 years ago, those terms are much more fitting today.

Customer Service is very good, the staff are super nice, and very helpful. One can tell the staff try their best to run the place with simplicity and efficiency. The streamlined method in place and employees swift action is impressive.
Passport service is very good. They take good pictures as well. There is no need for appointments as they accept walk-ins, not like the post office that needs to schedule an appointment. The workers are friendly and skilful. Practices thoughtful service by reminding each person what is needed, and never rudely turning away applicants. If an applicant returned with anything required, they were not forced to take another ticket and wait again.
Parking to this office is not an issue as they have their own lot.
