Kid-Friendly Parks in San Antonio - Pearsall Park | Evans Road CBD Store

Pearsall ParkĀ

Ā 4838 Old Pearsall Rd, San Antonio, TX 78242, United States

Ā

At 505 hectares, Pearsall Park is one of San Antonio's biggest and newest parks. There are two full court basketball courts with a nice surface, a big splash pad, a really good skateboard / inline roller skating area, bathrooms with running water (also a few port-a-potties), a big pavilion open, plenty of walking paths (some paved some gravel), a few playgrounds, some stationary exercise stations along the trail and so much more to do. Good for celebrations or gatherings to birthdays. This park has pretty much all that includes wifi. They also have a walking / running trail with a zip line, pull up bars, push up bars and other equipment people use for outdoor exercise.Ā

The walking / biking trails are around 5k and take you to two hills overlooking Alamo City with beautiful vistas. From one of the peaks, you can also see the downtown SA skyline. One of the hills has a few picnic tables, and a partly shaded art sculpture. The paths up to the top are steep yet flat, quick to walk. Owing to the steepness you can see a lot of bikers walking their bikes up the hills. It will be a good workout for runners and bikers out there.

It is very great fun, family friendly. The splash pad really is huge and well run. The park has an insane array of different swing styles as well as a three story playground system with slides, ladders, etc. There are food trucks selling convenient snacks for the kids.

The disc golf course at Pearsall Park was designed by Rialto Studios and Paul Taylor, a professional disc golfer. The course consists of 18 holes, a total length of 5,680 feet for a total of 58 par.

The dog park here in vivid green, red and yellow colors make the fenced-in area of 1.5 acres stand out with picnic tables and garbage bins as well as play features. Park schedulesĀ  are 5 a.m. seven days a week, until 11 p.m.

The skate park looks good, too. Imagine seeing this breathtaking view while skating on board!

San Antonio Parks offer an opportunity for people to spend time outdoor leisure with fresh air, sunlight, and visitor tap exercise. Enjoy the scenery, take a walk and de-stress.
