Sea World – Top Place to Visit in San Antonio, Texas

10500 Sea World Dr, San Antonio, TX 78251

Sea World has something for everyone. They have specials on park tickets, since the price for admission can be steep, and they have rides and activities for the young and old. It is an outdoor amusement park, there is a lot of walking involved. They actually have two parks connected, which is a great way to beat the heat and also enjoy the animals and shows. They also  have a brochure with the times and locations of the shows, which is a great way to experience everything. They’ve made some changes to the park recently as well. You can actually visit the reef aquarium and outdoor public dolphin exhibit without purchasing a ticket into the theme park. It actually works out pretty well If you just want to see a few sharks and get out of there in a pinch.

Great place to visit in the city of San Antonio for all age groups. For the past couple of years, I have personally seen a lot of new additions in the park. Although the main attractions are the killer whales, the sea lions are second to none, and the one where you can enjoy the jovial nature of these sea creatures. I also give a big thumps up to the support staff who are very knowledgeable, and supportive to all visitors.  The park is clean and well staffed. They have a lot of fun, interactive learning as well. The rides were well maintained and lines were short. Aquatica was a really great way to cool off after a hot day at the main park!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at SeaWorld San Antonio doing the Ultimate Animal Experience!! Our guide, Ben, was amazing and ultra accommodating!!  We enjoyed “meeting” all the animals and the VIP treatment we received. This package was definitely worth the extra money. First time going to SeaWorld in San Antonio, and although the day was blazing hot, the shows were amazing, educational and just downright entertaining. It’s a bonus that they have water fountain type play parks throughout the facility to keep you cool during these hot Texas summers. It was fascinating to see sharks up-close.. We had five and a half hours of fun and was well worth the triple digit temps we and everyone else braved that day.
