The Alamo Mission in San Antonio (Spanish: Misión de Álamo), commonly known as The Alamo and originally known as the Mission San Antonio de Valero, is a historic Spanish mission and fortress compound founded by Roman Catholic missionaries in what is now San Antonio, Texas, USA in the 18th century. The historic district was one of Texas ‘ early Spanish missions, constructed after their transformation to Christianity to educate local American Indians.

It was very knowledgeable the volunteer we spoke with inside. We were really thrilled by the Alamo and included the premises and all the past! In front of the Alamo, Alamo park is an environment. It’s good downtown for a stroll. It’s great to eat and have dinner. There is no price in front of the Alamo, it’s just a tiny park / area. This is a wonderful location to bring the children or arrive as an adult to know about our excellent Texas state’s wonderful history. Surprised by how tiny it was, there was still so much history to learn from the inside plaques. These courageous men’s lovely monument.

We liked the Alamo, it’s amazing history. Before we came to the Alamo, we saw a film about the past and it was worth it. Would highly recommend doing so, especially if you’re from overseas and don’t understand both American history and American history. It was fantastic, so lovely. Well, the tour is worth it. It was great to learn American history. Great landmark zone where you can meet friends and relatives, before or after visiting the Alamo, or when you’ve visited the town. Several significant monuments and a delightful location to stop and breathe. Helpful guides to you. Nice children’s shops and shops.
