The Quarry Golf Course is known for being one of the most scenic golf courses in San Antonio. Dating back to 1908, The Quarry was chiseled right out of stone by hand resulting in a course surrounded by an ancient past with families who once worked at Cementville leaving behind their legacy on this site so that it can be transformed into our beautiful world-renowned course today!
The Quarry is the top golf course in San Antonio and continues to lead the Texas Tourism market as a must-play for corporate outings and visitors. The most popular among all local courses, The Quarry boasts breathless views of downtown from every hole while still providing players with an opportunity at par on almost any given day. From business meetings to family gatherings, this beautiful 18-hole facility will help you create unforgettable memories!

The Quarry Golf Course was designed by Keith Foster in 1993, and remains locally owned. The course is under the care of GCSAA Superintendent Bruce Burger who ensures that it provides the best playing conditions and has a natural wildlife habitat.
The Quarry is a nationally known golf course with beautiful views, challenging shots for all skill levels, and unique character. It appeals to recreational players who enjoy the beauty of flying over lakes from elevated tees as much as it does those looking for difficulty playing from back tee boxes at 100-year quarry pits. Regardless of season or time constraints, The Quarry Golf Course accommodates visitors’ needs in an enjoyable setting. If you haven’t already visited this historic golf course then book your round today!
Foster’s Quarry Course is a challenging and unique golf course. The front side of the course has tall grasses, creeks, and no trees, making it more basic compared to other courses in its league. However this does not stop players from having fun during their practice rounds before playing on Hole 10 where they will encounter an adventure like none other with 100-foot walls surrounding them as well as several ravines that must be crossed by cart path only throughout most of holes 11 through 18 when finishing out at No 5 & 6 (holes) respectively!
- A creekside course with no trees
- Open space perfect for families looking to take on a challenge
- Lots of ravines and hills throughout the course
- Hugely different than other courses in its league
The 15th is the most dramatic hole on this course. The tee shot must clear a 40 foot waterfall, with an option to bank off of the wall onto the green. Nos. 12 and 13 both feature 90-foot bridges that span over quarry lakes, while No. 17 puts you in front of a huge stone wall at 520 yards away from your target.
- Experience the most dramatic course in the area
- Play a challenging and baffling, yet scenic course
- Top-notch service from our professional staff
- Enthusiastic members of the community
- The best golf course in the world
- You get to battle waterfalls and lakes while you play
- Course features a wide variety of holes, making every round unique
