White Stone Missionary Baptist Church is located in the historic South Memphis at 187 South Parkway East. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone may join live via the Facebook page “White Stone MB Church”. Their Pastor Reverend Dr. Walker D Wright says that the church’s mission statement has never been more relevant than it is now “’Soul-Winning Is Our Business.'”

The Stax Museum of American Soul Music is the world’s only museum dedicated to preserving and promoting America’s soul music legacy. Located on the original site of one of Memphis’ most famous recording studios, this museum pays tribute to artists who recorded there as well other soul legends with interactive exhibits and films. 

For those interested in musical instrument history, visitors find vintage instruments from different eras that were used at Stax or pictures from celebrities visiting during their tours through town during their live performance.
