About Fayetteville, North Carolina and CBD Flower Shops

Fayetteville is a bustling city located in Cumberland County, in North Carolina’s Coastal Plain region. It serves as the county seat and is best known for being home to Fort Bragg, one of the largest U.S. Army installations in the country.

Fayetteville was named after the Revolutionary War hero Marquis de Lafayette. The city was originally settled in 1739 by Scottish immigrants, and two early settlements (Campbellton and Cross Creek) merged to create Fayetteville in 1783. Fayetteville served as North Carolina’s capital from 1789-1793; however, Raleigh eventually won out as the permanent state capital. Unfortunately, calamities have struck twice throughout Fayetteville’s history.

The Great Fire of 1831 ruined many buildings, one of which was the original State House which only served a few active years. Then, during the Civil War, General Sherman’s Union troops ruined, even more, when they burned down the Confederate arsenal. Despite these both being large set backs, Fayetteville has managed to rebuild much of what was lost and documented it too in our historic districts!

The city has been awarded the All-America City Award from the National Civic League three times. According to the 2020 United States Census estimate, the city has a population of 208,501. It ranks as the sixth-largest municipality in North Carolina. With an estimated population of 529,252, the Fayetteville metropolitan area is the largest in southeastern North Carolina, and the 5th largest in the state.

Fayetteville is a lovely city with plenty of green spaces and beautiful parks, including the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. The Fayetteville Regional Airport is only a five-mile drive from the city center, making it an ideal location for those traveling to and from the city.

Fayetteville, North Carolina is a beautiful town with plenty to offer its residents and visitors. From the city’s many parks to its vibrant local businesses, there’s something for everyone in Fayetteville. One of these local businesses is CBD Flower Shops, which provides high-quality CBD products to customers throughout the area. If you’re looking for some of the best CBD flowers around, then be sure to check out CBD Flower Shops!

Why Visit Fayetteville? Top 3 Hiking Trails in Fayetteville, North Carolina

If you’re looking for a great outdoor activity to do in Fayetteville, North Carolina, consider hiking one of the local trails. There are a variety of trails to choose from, ranging in difficulty and length. So whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just getting started, there’s a trail for you. Here are three of the best hiking trails in Fayetteville.

1. The Cape Fear River Trail

The trail, which is part of the East Coast Greenway (stretching from Maine to Florida), runs for 5.5 miles at Fayetteville. You’ll be able to view the Fear River and some beautiful wooden bridges, including a covered bridge and boardwalk as you go. The terrain mostly consists of flat woodlands and marshland, with a few hilly sections mixed in, but it’s perfect for spotting all kinds of wildlife! Between the interpretative signage along the way and benches/picnic tables provided at regular intervals, this is an ideal spot for leisurely strolling or taking a break outdoors.

More than 700 plant and tree species, as well as 150 bird species, greet visitors along the trail. In addition, the River Trail area is home to a diverse array of hardwood trees. Commonly seen frogs, lizards, and turtles may be joined by an occasional deer sighting.

The Cape Fear River Trail has two different starting points: Clark Park and the Jordan Soccer Complex. The two possible starting points for the river trail have free parking, but it can be confusing trying to find a spot.

One of the best things about the Cape Fear River Trail is the waterfall. Although it’s small compared to waterfalls in the mountains, it’s still pretty cool to have one nearby. It makes the journey even more tranquil and lovely. Listening to a waterfall is so comforting, right?

The waterfall is located at the soccer field end of the trail, and it is visible from a bridge. If you are walking from the soccer field toward the waterfall, there is a small path on your left before you reach the bridge which will take you down to see it up close.

If you’re looking for a serene getaway that’s not too far from home, the Cape Fear River Trail is perfect for you. With a wide, paved path stretching through gorgeous scenery including wetlands, forests, and golf courses, this trail has everything nature lovers are looking for.

2. Carvers Creek State Park, Sandhills Access

Carvers Creek State Park is located in Cumberland County, North Carolina and covers 4,530 acres of land. The park encompasses the area around Carvers Creek which is a tributary of the Cape Fear River. Fort Bragg borders the state park to the north.

The state park is currently divided into two sections, Long Valley Farm and the Sandhills Property. The development of the park is still underway, and more land will be bought for it in the future.

On September 9th, 2013, the Long Valley Farm Access opened to the public with only interim park facilities. These initial facilities include a ranger contact station, picnic area by the lake fishing access, and two hiking trails.

The James S. Rockefeller Loop Trail is the park’s main trail at 2 miles (3.2 kilometers). It provides access to the Rockefeller House from the park office and picnic area before looping back around and ending near the entrance to the parking lot. The 0.75-mile (1.21-kilometer) Cypress Point Loop Trail begins near the Rockefeller house too and loops around the Southern shore of the millpond.

The amenities available at Carvers Creek State Park focus on Long Valley Farm, the historic vacation home of a Rockefeller family member. Visitors to the farm enjoy scenic hikes through longleaf pine forests, and rangers lead regular interpretive programs that include occasional tours of the late James Stillman Rockefeller’s vacation home.

At the park’s Sandhills access, you’ll find trails that are perfect for horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking. You’ll also have many chances to see some amazing animals and bugs in their natural habitats. Plus, the open fields offer a great vantage point to birdwatch.

The Sandhills parking lot and some sections of the multi-use trails are covered in crush-and-run rock, which can be slippery when wet. To avoid injury to your horse, we suggest wearing boots or shoes. It is important that you keep your horse on the trail in order to protect the longleaf pine ecosystem and surrounding habitats.

At Carvers Creek, there are no camping amenities. Raven Rock State Park is the nearest state park with campsites.

Here are 3 of the most common questions we get about hemp-derived CBD flower and its potential health benefits.

CBD is legal in North Carolina as long as it meets all state and federal requirements. You’ll need to check the THC content to make sure it’s under 0.3%, and that the CBD extract comes from hemp.

“N.C. General Assembly passed Senate Bill 313 in 2015, allowing the Industrial Hemp Commission to develop the rules and licensing structure necessary to stay within federal laws.” -N.C. State Law

According to North Carolina law, CBD is a cannabis derivative.
Cannabidiol comes from a cannabis plant, but that doesn’t mean it is marijuana.  It’s crucial to remember this when considering if CBD is legal in NC. CBD is a non-psychoactive relative of THC, which means it cannot make you high. So long as your CBD comes from hemp, it will not contain more than 0.3% THC.

The legality of CBD is a complex issue.
Most states have chosen to follow the lead of the Farm Bill of 2018 and do not regulate finished CBD products. In North Carolina, hemp derivatives are seen as agricultural products distinct from marijuana. Some of the more old-fashioned states view CBD and marijuana as the same, even though CBD DOES NOT get you high. States are slowly softening their laws regarding CBD use, and North Carolina is one of the more lenient states when it comes to this topic.

The 2018 Farm Bill’s effect on North Carolina’s hemp industry. The 2018 Farm Bill changed the game for Hemp and hemp-derived products by making it federally legal to cultivate hemp for recreational purposes. This bill specifically removed Hemp from the schedule list of controlled substances, which is now legally defined as cannabis containing less than 0.3% THC by weight dry flower Equivalency Justin–This means that people can 100% legally use various forms of relief like Hemp gummies for pain without any trouble

CBD is legal in North Carolina, so residents can purchase and possess it without worry. North Carolina allows the selling and use of CBD products as long they adhere to a few conditions set by the federal government:

  • CBD derived from hemp is legal.
  • It must contain less than 0.3% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) for it to be effective against anxiety, stress, and pain relief. A broad-spectrum CBD will have almost no THC while full spectrums can have up to 0.3%.
  • It is recommended that the CBD labels include a QR code affiliated with a third-party lab result.
  • Marijuana-derived CBD is illegal

2. Can you take CBD on a plane to Fayetteville, North Carolina?

CBD products are a popular way to cope with travel anxiety, jet lag, and muscle pain – but taking them across borders can be tricky. Here’s what you need to know, as well as some of the best products to try.

If you’re planning to travel with CBD products, there are certain rules you should know about air transportation. Can you take CBD on a plane to Fayetteville North Carolina? The answer depends on the type of CBD product and its ingredients.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recently issued a statement indicating that it “permits passengers to bring FDA-approved medications that contain CBD oil or marijuana oil as long as they are produced according to the law in their state of origin.” It is important to note, however, that while this ruling applies generally in all states, some states have specific laws governing the possession and use of CBD oils which may make it more difficult for residents of Fayetteville North Carolina to travel with their CBD products.

If you are planning to bring CBD oil to Fayetteville North Carolina, it is important that the product contains less than 0.3% THC and is derived from hemp plants grown in accordance with the Farm Bill of 2018. Unfortunately, if your CBD product exceeds this threshold, it may not be permitted on an airplane and you may have to find another way of transporting it.

It is also important to note that CBD products must be checked with your luggage, as they are not allowed in carry-on bags. Additionally, you should check the local laws of Fayetteville North Carolina upon arrival, as different states have different regulations regarding CBD use and possession.

In conclusion, the answer is that it depends on the type of product and its ingredients. In general, FDA-approved medications containing CBD oil or marijuana oil are permitted. Make sure to double-check the laws of both your origin and destination state before traveling with any kind of CBD product. Additionally, ensure that all products contain less than 0.3% THC and are derived from hemp plants grown in accordance with the Farm Bill of 2018. Finally, remember to check your CBD products with your luggage rather than in a carry-on bag. With these tips, you can safely and legally travel with CBD oil to Fayetteville North Carolina.

A 1-ounce (30 ml) bottle of CBD oil may cost anywhere from $30 to more than $200, and many people wonder why such a plant-based extract would be so expensive. However, you must remember that cheaper products are not always of better quality.
