Cannabinol, by now you’ve probably heard of it or seen it. You might be more familiar with the acronym, CBD. The stuff that is sells in gas stations, connivence stores, dispensaries, grocery stores, and everywhere in between.
What seems to be a domino effect of stores carrying CBD has begun. Large retail stores such as CVS and Walgreens have begun carrying hemp-based CBD products to cater to the growing demand for natural remedies. This situation has led to other large retailers jumping on the bandwagon. Kroger has recently announced they will begin selling CBD hemp products as well.
The Ohio based company, Kroger has announced plans to launch CBD products such as balms, oils, and creams in 945 store locations in 17 states nationwide.
Why is CBD so Popular?
CBD has become popular for many reasons. Some of the main reasons for CBD’s popularity are it’s reported beneficial health and wellness properties, it’s non-intoxicating effects, and it’s legalities. CBD has been said to help with numerous ailments and conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, arthritis, general pain, and much more.
Users like CBD because they can use it and still function regularly throughout their day. Furthermore, CBD derived from hemp doesn’t show up on drug tests due to the low THC content, which is 0.3 percent or less.
