There are over 120 identified cannabinoids. The cannabinoid, THC, is deemed illegal but CBD or cannabidiol is newly legal in most states.

 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)

THC is one of the most commonly known and potent cannabinoids known to man. The presence of high levels of THC is known to be part of the reason why humans experience psychoactive effects of consuming marijuana.

THC is used as a recreationally and medically. THC is still banned in most parts of the world. The cannabinoid has been shown to have a positive effect on the body including pain relief and relaxation.

Cannabidiol (CBD)

CBD, or cannabidiol, has swept the globe with popularity from Japan to the U.S. It is extracted from the cannabis Sativa L. plant or marijuana plants. CBD is known to have many positive effects on the body. In the past few years, important research has been conducted on CBD.

CBD is legal in most parts of the world, however, if any CBD product contains a higher percent of 0.3 THC then it is deemed illegal. CBD products can be used to help with issues like anxiety, body aches, psychological issues, issues related to bones and joints and many other health issues.

Cannabigerol (CBG)

Without CBG, some cannabinoids are not able to be formed. This is why it is sometimes referred to as the mother cannabinoid. Both CBD and THC start as CBG. It is a non-acidic form of cannabinoid.

CBG is still being studied but has been looked at to have potentially positive effects on the body, including, reduction of inflammation and healing of skin problems. It is also a very strong antioxidant and anti-bacterial agent.

Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA)

Cannabigerolic Acid, or CBGA, is an acidic form of the cannabinoid, Cannabigerol. CBGA plays a very important role in the growth of the cannabis plant.

Like Cannabigerol, it is also known to have a lot of potentially positive effects on the body. CBGA reportedly has efficiency in the treatment of cancer and schizophrenia.

Cannabichromene (CBCA)

Cannabigerol, or CBD, produces Cannabichromene (CBC) which on heating produces more cannabinoids like CBLA, CBL, and CBC. CBC was thought to possess no health or medical benefit, however, extensive research on the cannabinoid has now shown that CBC can help the body in many different ways.

It is known to have anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. CBC can also be used as an anti-bacterial agent which means that it can stop or slow down the growth of bacteria so it can be helpful for those who experience acne.
